Why wouldn't you care enough about Yourself to do the same? Why should You suffer what you would tell someone else to Not Suffer? We often give advice and care enough to tell others to "love" themselves.but we don't take the same advice. What would you say to them? What advice would you give them? If the advice is, OMG how could you stay/ why don't you look for another job/ why don't you go NC with that friend. Then go back in 24/72 hours and read it again, and imagine that journal entry was written by a stranger. It helps me to write it down as if I'm writing a reddit post (but don't post it). For example, if you saw a post on reddit of someone saying "My BF/GF did This, and I felt This, and then they did THAT and I'm so upset" what would you say to them? How would you respond, or have responded? If you say, I told them to get the hell out of that relationship! Then why aren't you saying that to Yourself? We all make mistakes and do dumb things.īut if you put yourself outside of yourself, it's easier to understand the concept.
